The haunted chapel of Montorio al Vomano

I was visiting my love's family in Italy.

His cousin was very interested by the long exposures I was telling him about, but could not quite grasp the concept of painting with light. I decided to demonstrate it to him and promised to show him the photos next time.

I set up the tripod, put on the cable release, asked him not to move or touch the camera and walked around the ruins of an old private chapel he chose for the location. As I did this, I highlighted certain parts with a torch which I partially shelterd with my fingers as it was very powerful. My fingers are the yellowish spot bottom centre, I am the human shape next to them. It was a bit of a creepy place but it's beautiful and you should all go see it.
